Overview
This driveway company had a decent-looking website, but it was not built to rank or generate enquiries. We rebuilt the site from the ground up, split services into dedicated pages, improved the Google Business Profile, and used targeted blog content to strengthen the pages that drive leads. From March 2025 to March 2026, organic clicks rose from 8 to 578 and impressions from 1,592 to 100,609.

The Problem
The original website had been built as a favour by a friend in exchange for patio work. It looked nice enough, but parts of it did not work, the buttons were broken, and the whole site was just one page. That is a familiar problem for trades businesses: the website exists, but it cannot properly explain each service, target different searches, or turn local traffic into quote requests. On top of that, there was no budget for off-site SEO, so the strategy had to focus on the highest-impact work first.
"In such a short time they have completely turned my business from not getting many enquiries, to getting a shed load all in a matter of months. They completely rebuilt my website and got me flying up Google in no time."
What We Changed
We rebuilt the site from scratch while keeping the visual style the Director liked. Then we split the services into separate pages, each targeting its own keyword cluster, so Google could understand exactly what the business offered. From there, we focused on two things.
First, we optimised the Google Business Profile to win quick local visibility. That mattered because the client was not running any other advertising during this period. This quadrupled their phone enquiries almost overnight.
Second, we created blog content around very specific, relevant, low-competition searches. That content brought in targeted traffic and helped push more authority into the core service pages, which improved their ability to rank for the terms that actually drive enquiries.

Why This Worked
This worked because most trades SEO fails at the page structure stage.
You cannot expect one generic page to rank for every service, every material, every location, and every variation of buyer intent. Separate service pages improve relevance. Google Business Profile optimisation captures high-intent local searches early. Blog content lets you win easier searches first, then use that momentum to strengthen the money pages.
That is the part prospects care about: not “more traffic” in the abstract, but a site that shows up for the right searches and gives people enough confidence to ask for a quote.

The Results
Organic clicks increased from 8 in March 2025 to 578 in March 2026. That is a 72.25x increase.
Organic impressions increased from 1,592 to 100,609 over the same period. That is a 63.2x increase.
More importantly, the business started receiving real enquiries with high buying intent. Local people started asking for driveway quotes, back garden quotes, reinstatement works, and material choices such as tarmac or concrete.
Within just two months the company sold three driveway jobs in a single week through the website, adding over £15,000 in revenue.
"I cannot thank the lads enough. Hands down the best investment I've made for my business. I've already recommended them to all my business owner friends."
